Reverse Osmosis Systems
3 Stage RO
4 Stage RO
5 Stage RO
Our portable range of reverse osmosis purifiers provides crystal-clear drinking water by removing, on average, 96% of dissolved contaminants in the water. These portable systems are usually installed in laundries, utilising the cold-water outlet of the washing machine.
These systems are designed to be used as bottle filling stations, which do not interrupt t washing machine. To operate the purifier, simply turn on the stop valve on the multi-fit adaptor.
Depending on your water quality, we can provide a few choices: 3 Stage RO, 4 Stage RO, 5 Stage RO.
Stage 1: Pre-filter
Large capacity activated carbon pre-filter. For removal of sediment and chemicals, it provides vital protection to the reverse osmosis membrane.
STAGE 2: Membrane
This is the major component of the probe pure water system.
State-of-the-art 50 GPD TFC membrane for 98% rejection of dissolved minerals and heavy metals.
Contaminant rejection
The state-of-the-art probe membrane does not hold or store any dissolved minerals or contaminants. The membrane continually flushes these contaminants away.
Stage 3: Polishing filter
Although the membrane will reject very small contaminants, it must also allow hydrogen and oxygen to pass through. This can result in gaseous and low molecular weight chemicals such as chloroform to pass through. The final stage polishing filter is designed to pick up these potentially dangerous chemicals providing you with great tasting, safe water.
Recommended cartridges:
- GAC/KDF-211-QO+ Membrane + GAC-211QO.
- CB-1 + Membrane + GAC-210QO
SB5C BENCHTOP CHILLER
Popular domestic reverse osmosis system designed as a bottle filling station. High flow TFC membrane producing 6-9L per hour.
The 2 large 10" pre-filters offer vital protection to the membrane with high dirt holding capacity and chemical removal.
The final stage polishing filter will remove any potentially dangerous chemicals remaining in the water to provide crystal-clear great tasting water.
Stage 1: 10" x 2.5" 5-micron sediment filter.
Stage 2: 10" x 2.5" 1-micron carbon block filter.
Stage 3: 50-100L per day TFC membrane.
Stage 4: Inline polishing filter.
Recommended cartridges:
SPF-005 + CB-1 + Membrane + GAC-210
SPF-005 + CB-1 + Membrane + GAC-CAL-210
Extra sediment filter for contaminated water area.
Stage 1: 10" x 2.5" 5-micron sediment filter.
Stage 2: 10" x 2.5" 1-micron sediment filter.
Stage 3: 10" x 2.5" 1-micron carbon block filter.
Stage 4: 50-100L per day TFC membrane.
Stage 5: Inline polishing filter.
Recommended cartridges:
SPF-005 + SPF-001 + CB-1 + Membrane + GAC-210 SPF-005 + CB-5 + CB-1 + Membrane + GAC-210
Why are reverse osmosis systems better than regular filter systems?
Reverse osmosis systems are capable of reducing dissolved solids like sodium, copper and nitrate in your drinking water. Regular systems can handle dirt and sediments, but dissolved solids are too much for regular systems to handle, which is why reverse osmosis systems are better.
Is reverse osmosis water safe to drink?
Yes, reverse osmosis water is extremely pure and safe to drink. Some people may prefer adding minerals back into the water using a remineralisation filter, especially in areas where diet or existing water lacks essential minerals like calcium or magnesium.
Can reverse osmosis be used for bore or tank water?
Yes, but pretreatment such as sediment filtering or UV sterilisation may be required, especially if the source water contains high levels of dirt or microbes. A water test is the best way to determine the right setup.
